VCS is pleased to begin development on our Alumni pages. Many of our alumni have been registered under Classmates.com but do not utilize the full servies provided and do not want to have to pay the annual fee to take advantage of these services. Alumni have suggested the creation of our own web pages.
There are several immediate goals for these pages:
1. Add a registration page to keep track of basic demographic information. This will provide an updated mailing list for street addresses as well as e-mail adresses. Included will be an alumni search function.
2. Alumni will have access to news articles posted by each of the Division administrators (for example, Early Learning Center, Elementary, Middle and High Schools and Sports).
3. An alumni profile will be added that will include colleges attended, degrees earned, current company of employment or businesses owned, family and children.
4. An opportunity to share testimonials, prayer requests and answers to prayer and to plant seeds into special projects.
5. We will also list class officers for each graduation class.
6. The site will provide an opportunity to notify classmembers of upcoming class reunions.
We are looking for a couple alumni who would be willing to help manage these pages, which can be accomplished from any Internet access point.
