WELCOME to our Early Learning Center (grades K3-1st grade) and Elementary (grades 2-5) website. We were so blessed to have your child with us here for the 2010-11 school year!

Below are some important things to know...

School Times
At the Lewis Building (for grades 2-5), the start time is 8:05 a.m. and ending time is 3:10 p.m.  At the Early Learning Center (for K3-1st grade), the start time is 8:15 a.m. and ending time is 3:00. K3 & K4 half day students are dismissed at 11:45 a.m. and kindergarten half day students at noon. Please remember to have your child to school on time each day!

FUNDRAISER
Our annual fundraiser began on Friday, August 27. All orders are due on Monday, September 13! Please refer to the prize brochure and recent handout on other sales incentives! This year's fundraiser is a post-collect (money is collected at time of product delivery); product arrival will be mid October. Thank you in advance for making this year's fundraiser a success!

ANNUAL GRANDPARENT'S DAY
Please make plans now to join us for our special day to welcome our wonderful grandparents into the classrooms: Thursday, September 16! Morning sessions are available to visit at both the Early Learning Center and Lewis building elementary classrooms. Please refer to the recent invitation for times and refreshment schedule. We look forward to having you join us on this exciting day!

SCRIP
Thank you to all of you that have become a member of our Scrip program.  For those of you that may be unfamiliar with this program, Scrip allows you to purchase gift cards for day to day purchases from our most popular stores and restaurants or to give as a gift for special occasions.  Each card purchased produces a profit which is split between the school and the participants. The portion to the participants is applied as a tuition discount for re-enrollment. Continue to watch for additional information to go home weekly with your child and an upcoming fall kick-off so that you too can become a Scrip participant to begin saving money towards your child's VCS re-enrollment!

What is K2BK?
K2BK (Kool 2 Be Kind) is our elementary kindness/anti-bullying program that begins in January (2nd semester). You may purchase the latest K2BK t-shirt to wear on any Friday jeans day. Forms will be sent home shortly. At the close of last school year, we celebrated 3,683 individual acts of kindness!  For more information about the program, please go to www.kool2bkind.org.

Check Grades/Attendance Online
Within the next few weeks, you will be able to access your child's grades and attendance on line using our program called PowerSchool! Please check in at the Main School Office to receive your login and password.  Think of it as an "everyday integrade report."
