Mr. Smith comes to us with 22 years of experience in education. He is currently completing his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Instructional Design and Leadership with a specialization in curriculum design and technology.
Philip Klehm grew up in Indiana and has been in education for over 25 years. He joined the Victory Christian School staff in 2000 as the middle school principal and in 2009 became the high school principal.
Born and raised in northcentral Minnesota on a small dairy farm. Attended St. Cloud University, MN earning B.S. in Elementary Education and Reading. Taught grades 5 & 6 in St. Cloud and Blue Earth, MN. Attended North Central University to earn a degree in Biblical Foundations – taught Children’s Literature at North Central.
Ryan Wakley came to VCS in the fall of 1997. He was the assistant volleyball and basketball coach. He served as an assistant coach until the fall of 2000 when he took over as head coach of the girls basketball team.
Mrs. Taylor grew up in Northern Virginia, and began to follow the Lord during middle school. By the time she graduated high school, she had traveled to many countries, and had developed a heart for the nations and missions as a result. After seeking God’s guidance on what His plan was for her life, she decided to go to Oral Roberts University to become a teacher. She taught 5th grade for 8 years at Victory Christian School, and enjoyed going on many missions trips during the summer months.
Jim Cherry grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and has been in Education for 44 years. He attended Northeastern State college where he received his Masters in Administration and Superintendent degree. He has been a football coach for 44 years and is serving as Defensive Coordinator this season. He came to Victory Christian in 2002 as an Assistant Principal and Head Football Coach.

Since coming to VCS we have also begun hosting international students, which we consider a great honor. So far we have hosted students from Rwanda, China, and South Korea. We feel so blessed to have expanded our family with such amazing kids and we love learning about their culture.
