The Parent Action Team (PAT) exists to support our children's education for academic and spiritual excellence, through engaging and encouraging families and the community to lean into the heart, vision, mission, and standard of VCS.
The PAT partners with individuals and businesses across our community to expand and enhance our ability to serve and as an advocate for all VCS students and families.

Lower School Room Mom-
Being a room mom is a fantastic way to really learn what ways your classroom teacher needs help and let the parents in your room know how to fill those needs. You will also work with Nicole Lynn, our Lower School Representative, on upcoming school events like the Chili Dinner during Parent/Teacher Conferences. If someone in your class had an accomplishment, send it to Nicole! It may be featured in the quarterly Grandparent's newsletter!
Upper School Grade Parent-
You will have the opportunity to work with our Upper School Representative, Kristin McPherson, to make the school even better. Help keep parents in your grade informed and head up acts of kindness for the students and teachers. Also, send any student accomplishments to Kristin. Your child may be featured in the quarterly newsletter sent to Grandparents of VCS!
New Student Ambassador-
The head of this outreach program, Stacy Hill, has such a heart for connecting incoming VCS families with established VCS families. Knowing someone makes the transition so much easier! If you would like to be an Ambassador family, contact Stacy today.
Grandparent's Day Committee-
From decorations and food for our Grandparent's Day event to the quarterly newsletter, there are ways to get involved all year. We want our Grandparents to see everything our school has to offer, and you're a big part of making sure that happens!
Teacher Appreciation Committee-
You have an opportunity to really shape how we show our Teachers that we love and appreciate them! Michele Jones and Jeannette Swan are the Grandparent's Day/Teacher Appreciation Chairs this year and they are excited to have your help. The first week of May is Teacher's Appreciation Week, but the theme, decorations, and planning begin soon. If it's in your heart to do something throughout the year, this committee is for you!
Parent Prayer Opportunities-
We will soon be announcing all of the times and places that prayer or parent-led devotionals are happening on campus! We would love to have you join us at one of these times to be refreshed and join together in prayer for our school.
